Johnny Depp has taken the stand again in his $100 million defamation trial where he reportedly revealed why he chose to suffer abuse at the hands of his former wife.
The renowned actor was seen in the courtroom again where he opened up about how his relationship with Amber Heard went from bad to worse in such a short span of time.
The 58-year-old star continued by speaking about how he continued to live with the abuse because he didn’t wish to break Amber’s heart. And that included him recalling how she would follow him everywhere in her nightgown and scream, “You can’t leave me. I am going to die!”
Similarly, the actor shed light upon his own troubles during his childhood when he suffered at the hands of his abusive mother.
“My father left us when we were so young. When my mom found out, she panicked. And the next thing I knew, she took her own life. I couldn’t stand seeing Amber Heard doing something like that. The visuals were too painful for me”- he adds.
But the drama had just unfolded as the celeb then shed light upon how Amber Heard had severed his finger after slamming a bottle of Vodka at him.
The top of the actor’s middle finger was completely gone and he was forced to rush to the hospital to get treatment. But Amber Heard instead says that the actor had severed his own finger by chopping it down with a knife!
Moreover, she even revealed how her entire team referred to the act as a three-day-long hostage situation and that is when the actor became so violent that he just couldn’t take it anymore. Clearly, both sides of the story are remarkably different.
