Brad Pitt has responded to his adopted son Pax’s allegations with silence after it was revealed the teenager called him a despicable person.
DailyMail.com earlier this week revealed that now-19-year-old Pax Jolie-Pitt, whom Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt adopted before their bitter divorce in 2016, unleashed a foul-mouthed rant against his father on Father’s Day 2020.
In his message, which was shared on his private Instagram account, the teenager allegedly wrote:
“Happy Father’s Day to this world class a**hole!! You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.
“You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you’re incapable of doing so.
“You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday. So Happy Father’s Day, you f*****g awful human being.”
Now, sources close to the Hollywood A-lister confirmed that Brad responded to the resurfaced comments about him with silence.
“It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of ‘bad person’ when it’s far from the truth,” an insider told The Sun.
The source went on to say that Pitt chose to “keep a dignified silence” out of “great respect” for his children. They also added the 59-year-old actor found it “depressing” to see the comments about him resurface.
This comes shortly after another source confirmed that it was indeed Pax who posted the fiery comments about Pitt on social media in 2020.
At the time, Pax was just 16 years old, and he shared the rant on a private Instagram account that he allegedly only used for his close friends.
