Four young brothers tragically passed away after their home collapsed under the weight of the rubbish stored on the flat roof.
10-year-old Santino Hardoy, 6-year-old Lorenzo del Rio, and 4-year-old twins Noah Nisi and Benicio were crushed to death when the roof of their house in Argentina caved in while they were inside.
According to the reports, 37-year-old Pamela Nisi only moved into the house with her children weeks ago. There, she lived with her builder boyfriend who allegedly stored five tons of rubbish on the flat roof above the living quarters.
Since investigators believe that the items stored on the roof caused the concrete slab to collapse and kill the children, the mother’s boyfriend, 51-year-old Catalino Daniel Lopez, has been facing aggravated manslaughter charges.
“My four children have died, I feel like I’m dying. I don’t want to live anymore. My twins Benicio and Noah, and Lolo and Santino all went to Heaven,” the boys’ grieving mother said.
“They left me, mummy’s angels. Tell me it’s all just a nightmare. For God’s sake, my children, no. Who can take this pain away from me?”
Nisi continued: “I can’t take it anymore, why is life unfair to me? Please, I can’t take it anymore. I miss you, my Lolo, my Santi, and my babies.”
According to the investigators, Pamela has two other children aged 15 and 18. While the eldest lives elsewhere, 15-year-old Valentine survived the incident because he left the room to inform his mother after seeing dust falling from the ceiling.
