BREAKING: 5-Year-Old Moroccan Boy Who Was Trapped Inside A Well DIES Moments Before The Rescuers Pull Him Out


The 5-year-old Moroccan boy who was trapped inside a deep well for several days has passed away.

Little Rayan Awram was trapped inside a 105-foot-deep well located near his home in Ighran, Chefchaouen, after falling into its tiny opening.

Following the Tuesday night incident, the authorities launched a massive rescue mission in an attempt to get to the boy and save him before it was too late.

On Saturday night, after four restless nights, the rescuers finally reached the young boy and pulled him to safety. Sadly, however, the five-year-old succumbed to his injuries before he was rescued and the rescuers were not able to resuscitate him.

The tragic news was confirmed by the local government as thousands of people gathered in the village to support the rescue efforts.

After removing the boy’s body from the tunnel, rescuers could be seen carrying Rayan to the medical team in a golden blanket.

Meanwhile, the child’s parents were anxiously waiting for an update about their son’s condition at the ambulance.

Since the child’s death, experts have confirmed that it is impossible to know when exactly the young boy died and whether he was able to make use of the water and oxygen that he was provided with by the rescue teams.

After the devastating news, thousands of people paid a tribute to the brave little angel with King Mohammed personally sending his condolences to the family.

“Rest in peace, tears stream around the world for Rayan tonight – no regrets please from his rescuers because they honestly did everything they could to save that little boy!” one person wrote on social media under the hashtag #SaveRayan.

“Rayan may you rest with the angels… I wish you knew you were not alone all those days and that everyone around the world was praying for your safe return. Morocco did you proud,” another said.
