While the image of the boy isn’t seen at first, others in his surrounding appear to be seated with their harnesses present in a downward position.

In the background, others appear curious about their safety and continue to ask around about how safe it is really as they failed to see any seatbelts.

To that query, the operator boldly answers, there are no seatbelts. And that’s when he decides to start the ride and send the riders in the air with their plastic harnesses pulled down.

Authorities claim that since the ride had no seatbelts, the only thing that was actually preventing the riders from falling was the plastic harness. And for that to work, it had to be pulled down so that it was buckled in place, right between the rider’s legs.

The ride is famous for swiftly going up and then stopping in the middle for 10 seconds, moments after which it comes down.
