The family of a two-year-old boy who was found in a concerning state by the police has released a picture of the little angel in a touching tribute.
Daniel James Hodgson Green, 2, was rushed to the hospital after the police found him at a residence in Guisborough, England, while responding to a safety concern report.
While the toddler was immediately tended to by the paramedics, he sadly passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Following the boy’s death, the police arrested 39-year-old Carol Hodgson, whose relationship to the child remains unclear, on suspicion of murder.
Since the tragic incident, the boy’s family has also shared a photo of the young child via the police department.
“The family of Daniel James Hodgson Green from Guisborough has released a photo of the 2-year-old, who sadly died following an alleged incident at an address in Upper Garth Gardens, Guisborough, on Wednesday 2nd February,” a spokesperson for the Cleveland Police announced.

After appearing at Teesside Magistrates’ Court, Hodgson confirmed her name, address, and date of birth but failed to enter a plea.
She currently remains in police custody and is awaiting her appearance at Teesside Crown Court.
