According to the reports, the young boy was found dead in a freezer in the garage of his mother’s home, whereas the police rushed to the home at the 4300 block of Saddle Brook Park Drive after being tipped off by the boy’s mother and older sister.

As the mom and the girl revealed in their note which they had sent to the girl’s school, Toseland had allegedly become abusive towards them and kept them in the home against their will.

Meanwhile, the children’s mother insisted in her letter that she hadn’t seen her son Mason ever since December 11 and that she wasn’t sure if he was still alive.

After the school obtained the letter, the Clark County School District contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police Department and Toseland was arrested during a traffic stop shortly after.

His girlfriend has since told the police that she was abused by the man and ordered not to leave her house without his permission. She was allegedly also warned not to enter the garage or inquire about her missing son.

“I only ever saw [Toseland] in passing dropping and picking kids up from school. [He] seemed like a normal person from what I saw… I never saw the mom in person except my wife,” the neighbor, Brian Easly, said.

Speaking in relation to the disturbing case was also Lt. Ray Spencer who said: “Anybody who is going through situations where you feel you cannot handle a child, you can bring that child to a hospital, you can bring that child to a fire station, you can call 211, there are a lot of resources out there.”
