A 35-year-old woman’s body was recently discovered by the police after they responded to reports regarding her safety and wellbeing.
According to reports from local media outlets, the victim was identified as 35-year-old Kirstie Anne Ellis who was discovered by the cops in Leeds on Friday during the afternoon hours.
But now, horrifying reports from authorities have gone on to reveal how her dead body was lying in her residence undiscovered for about four weeks.
Police have managed to arrest a man and woman who they believe could be involved in Kirstie’s murder. Both of them remain in custody as investigations into the bizarre case continue.
“We are busy quizzing them both and so are the detectives involved in the investigation”- revealed officers belonging to the West Yorkshire Police Homicide Team.
Meanwhile, the victim’s neighbors revealed to the police how they tried to knock on her door several times on a number of different occasions. But it was in vain as they failed to get any sort of response in return.
One woman who chose not to be named said that officers kept knocking on her door to quiz her about the victim and whether she had seen her recently.
“Two weeks back, police arrived at our doorstep and they asked if we had seen her in the past 14 days. But we hadn’t”- she explained.
And that is why so many neighbors fear that her body has been lying dead for nearly four weeks, if not more.
Cops tried to knock on all doors with a picture of a man and they asked so many if they had seen him as they were keen on speaking to him. But the neighbors failed to recognize him.
