A 17-year-old boy from Texas is accused of killing his own mother and hiding her lifeless body in the trunk of his car after he had brutally attacked her.

According to documents, Manfred Roenz, the father of 17-year-old Tyler Roenz, came home around noon on October 13 and was horrified by the scene.

He reportedly found blood and a human tooth inside their home in Birch Arbor Court in Humble.

Manfred, the husband of Michelle Roenz, also said he found a trail of blood and more than four teeth between the bedroom and the garage. He also discovered blood on the carpet in another room.

The victim’s purse, keys, and phone were also found in the bedroom. Her husband said that she never left home without taking those items with her.

Manfred called out to both his wife and son but when he didn’t get any response, he contacted 911.

The grieving husband said that after finding his wife’s phone, he tried to track Tyler’s phone using the Life360 app. However, his son had already uninstalled the app and turned his phone off.

According to ABC13, initial reports indicate that the 49-year-old mother may have died from blunt force trauma and strangulation.

Manfred said that his wife returned home around 10:15 am.

Life360 app, which allows family members to keep track of each other’s whereabouts, showed that Tyler was at home at that time before the application was uninstalled and his phone turned off.

Earlier this year, Tyler was previously arrested and charged with assault involving a teenage girl in a high school parking lot.

He was out on bond when he attacked his own mother.

Manfred checked Michelle’s credit cards and found that one of her cards had been used multiple times across state lines.

The mother’s cause of death remains unclear and police have yet to say whether they plan to charge her son with the murder.
