“There Will NEVER Be A Black James Bond!”- Controversy At Peak After John Boyega Makes Startling Confessions


Actor John Boyega is raising eyebrows with his controversial statements.

Recently, the celeb was seen sparing a few moments and mentioning how he felt about Daniel Craig hanging up his tuxedo and no longer being James Bond.

The famed character from Star Wars is currently in a dilemma about how he feels about a James Bond being played by a person of color. And according to him, it’s never going to happen.

There were quite a few calls for British-born Elba to be the seventh 007 lead but his fellow co-actor Boyega thinks otherwise. He was seen playing down the star’s chances of getting the role.

Up till now, all of the actors for the role have been white and that’s just one reason why he does not see it happening.

“I don’t see Idris Elba taking up the role after Craig’s departure. It’s just not going to happen”- the celeb continued in a very bold tone. He then went on to speak about the racist backlash that he experienced while working in the role of Star Wars.

“When you are black, I do not know that goes!”- he revealed.

When the celeb was asked if he would ever think about playing James Bond, well, he boldly replied with a smirk, “I am sorry but I am Black- I don’t know how that goes!”- the celeb continued.

It was interesting to see a black woman play a female 007 in the recent blockbuster film called No Time To Die. But other than that, we’ve never seen any colored person grace the lead role.

Boyega also shed a little light on how he was made to feel like the elephant in the room after being subjected to racist backlash when he portrayed Finn in the hit Disney movie Star Wars Triology.
