One child’s birthday party at a renowned water park ended in the worst tragedy recently after one of the guests was found dead after vanishing from the event.
According to reports from local media outlets, one of the guests who was identified as an 11-year-old girl had suddenly vanished for one whole hour. She was a part of the guest list, leaving the hosts worried sick and her parents too.
The authorities were called in to intervene and carry out an urgent hunt for the victim. But to many people’s horror, she was found dead underwater in a lake situated at the venue.
Emergency services made their way to the park at about 3:55 pm, where divers began the hunt for the girl who vanished. And after one hour, her body was retrieved from a nearby lake at 5:10 pm.
One witness claims the girl had drowned as they saw her going underwater but she failed to come back up. The exact location of the event was described to be the Liquid Leisure Water Park in Windsor.
Other reports revealed how the park had been shut while the hunt was being carried out by relevant authorities. Searchers yelled the little girl’s name but received no response. Little did they know that she had drowned.
Divers who jumped into the lake found her dead body and while paramedics tried to resuscitate her, it was in vain and she was pronounced dead at the tragic scene.
“The victim was rushed to the nearby Wexham Park Hospital. But she had already died”- explained officers from the Thames Valley Police station recently.
At the moment, more investigations regarding the terrifying event are currently taking place. Authorities are labeling the victims’ death as unexplained and hope to find more clues regarding the incident and what exactly went on before it occurred.
