JUST IN: Bill Cosby CHEERED When He Heard The Civil Jury Ordered Him To Pay Judy Huth Only $500,000

Bill Cosby was found guilty of assaulting Judy Huth at the Playboy Mansion in 1975, but the comedian reportedly cheered when he was ordered to pay only $500,000.

A Los Angeles County jury delivered the verdict in favor of the victim, now 64, and awarded her the substantial sum.

The judgment ended one of the last remaining legal claims against Cosby, who was sentenced to jail in 2018 for another assault charge that was overturned by Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court last year.

The stand-up comedian had been accused by around 60 women of drug-influenced assault, s*xual misconduct, and s*xual battery, in alleged incidents that occurred between 1965 and 2008.

“It’s been torture,” Huth said of the 7-year legal fight. “To be ripped apart, you know, thrown under the bus and backed over. This, to me, is such a big victory.”

Cosby did not testify in person but jurors watched videos from 2015 deposition, in which he denied any s*xual contact with Huth.

On Wednesday, Cosby’s longtime rep Andrew Wyatt told Daily Mail that the 84-year-old was thrilled with the verdict because the jury did not award the victim punitive damages that could’ve cost his client millions.

According to his rep, Cosby called the verdict ‘a victory.’

“He said, ‘That’s a victory, not having to pay Huth punitive legal bills,’” Wyatts said. “He was happy that no punitive (damages) were awarded.”

According to TMZ, the comic reportedly asked: “What? That’s all?” His PR specialist then said “booyah!”

The publicist also said that Cosby reached out to the two jurors who had sided with him and thanked them for their support, adding that his legal team will soon appeal the decision.
