A family from New Zealand is expressing their utter heartbreak after finding their dead child inside a washing machine.

According to local media outlets, the child was trapped inside a running machine and nobody had any clue until the disaster was over.

Copas claim the young victim was located in the Christchurch suburb of Hoon Hay. He was found dead inside the device on Friday and was discovered dead by the family.

“It was on with him present on the inside. He was trapped and nobody was there to attend to his helpless cries for help”- the cops revealed as the tragic incident went viral on the news.

For now, investigations into the heartbreaking incident are currently taking place. But the authorities are not calling the incident as being suspicious.

It is believed that the young victim managed to climb into the running machine while it was on but they are not sure exactly how he managed to do that.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the community board has referred to it as an incident that is deeply saddening. “It’s a sadness that we’d not like to talk about, it’s as simple as that. The pain is too much”- she continued.

Sources revealed how a similar incident took center stage in Florida where a young toddler managed to enter through the front door of a washing machine.

The country has reported more such similar incidents where young kids have been the victims and it’s alarming.

The police are trying to figure out if the child managed to close the machine’s door to such an extent that it created an airtight seal and deprived him completely of oxygen.
