A 16-year-old girl from New York City is revealing her fears about living in her own hometown, adding how she no longer feels safe stepping out.

The news comes as the young girl was reportedly stabbed by a creepy stranger who suddenly got up behind her and stabbed her. Thankfully, she managed to survive but the side effects of the attack are leaving her at a loss for words.

According to local media reports, the crime rate in NYC, especially Brooklyn and its surrounding continues to surge. And that means there are so many people out there who are feeling vulnerable and anxious by the second.

In the past month, we saw two shooting incidents take place that left many in absolute horror as they both occurred during the broad daylight and rush hours of the morning on a subway.

The shocking unprovoked act was caught on CCTV footage and is now being called out by online viewers as the startling footage makes its way to viral views on social media.

Morover, the victim has been identified as 16-year-old Dagean Wilson who hails from Brookly and is suffering from the worst type of anxiety while roaming around in public.

Wilson is seen walking on the streets near a juice bar and before she knows it, the creepy stabber stalks her and then stabs her shoulders in the most random attack.

The authorities identified the suspect in the case as Osie Lewis who is 20 years old. He is wielding a black-colored knife, the same sharp weapon used to try and kill the teenage victim.
