One woman is raising her voice against her own college by suing them after being barred from campus because she reported her boyfriend’s abuse.
The 22-year-old student was said to sue a Christian college in Memphis for the terrifying allegations brought on against her after her boyfriend r*ped her and then tried to take her life by strangulation.
22-year-old Mara Louk revealed how she had no choice but to file a major complaint against the college because they felt the woman was engaged in pre-marital s*x and that is the reason all of this took place.
“I was beyond appalled by the types of allegations being brought up against me. It just was not fair. I knew I was the victim here but the punishment I got was one that’s equivalent to that of a suspect. How can they accuse me of engaging in pre-marital s*x. How do they know that I wished to get married to him? This is beyond appalling and I knew something had to be done in my case”- the young victim continued.
Authorities revealed how the complaint was recently filed by Mara with the Department of Education. It was against the Music College and the victim hopes she will get justice for reporting her abuse, instead of being blamed for it.
“They did absolutely nothing for me when I told them he abused me and choked me. I was beyond shocked at their behavior”- the young woman continued.
But in regards to the complaint she put forward against the school, they revealed that since the cops failed to charge the suspect, he would be allowed to stay on campus and continue with his classes.
However, it’s beyond appalling how they blamed her for engaging in premarital s*x, despite her constant denial.
