Just when you thought you may have seen it all comes a horrifying incident of a young woman falling asleep behind the wheel of her car.
According to reports from local media outlets, the woman fell asleep while driving her Tesla on the highway, leaving witnesses horrified. Moreover, they did everything in their power to wake her up and prevent her from getting into a major disaster.
The viral footage is taking social media by storm as the driver couldn’t be bothered as to what was really going on in her surroundings.
The witnesses on the California highway did everything in their power to try and alert her but it just did not seem to work. Hence, a point had come where one woman thought enough was enough and opted to call the cops and 911 for help.
The driver was a female who could be seen donning a pink-toned shirt and a pair of shades. At the same time, her body appears to be very limp and in an unconscious state at the wheel.
Clearly, the vehicle is going to be in a state of autopilot as no one can be seen steering it and that is what had people in shock as a lot of disasters were probably averted because of this technology and sheer luck.
The exact location of the incident was identified to be Interstate 15 which is situated near Temecula.
But Tesla did release a statement in the past about how its autopilot system is designed solely for the purpose of assisting the driver and not for the likes of driving the vehicle on its own. In this case, the latter seems to be true.
