A carjacker who was accused of brutally beating a 72-year-old gran and then stealing her vehicle has been killed in a horrifying car crash, moments later.
Many are referring to the shocking incident as an ideal example of karma as the accused suspect reportedly stole the gran’s car keys at the gas station after he beat her up badly.
The victim was identified as Shirlene Hernandez who hails from San Antonio. She was attacked in a hostile manner while pumping gas in her car.
She was recently pictured covered in horrifying bruises, clearly showing how violently the attacker punched her across her face to make get away with her property.
“He just began to batter and bruise me. I was helpless and just couldn’t come to terms with what was happening with me”- the 72-year-old tried to explain.
But reports from authorities shed light upon how the assailant crashed the car that he had stolen from the gran. And died soon afterward.
The suspect who hails from San Antonio in Texas says the carjacking and abuse took place at the Shell gas station where she was left covered in blood.
When people realized what was going on, they began to run towards the attacker but he managed to flee swiftly with her car.
“We tried to intervene and attack him but he just managed to escape within time”- the police explained in regards to statements provided by witnesses.
Moments later, the cops were able to find the car totaled on the highway and the suspected attacker was dead inside.
“So many people are telling me that it’s a case of what goes around comes around but I didn’t like that for a second. In fact, I’m sad that he ended up dying in the end”- the victim continued to say in an emotional tone.
