A terrifyingly tragic incident involving an American bulldog has left one family torn apart forever in Wales.
According to local media reports, a ten-year-old schoolboy had reportedly gone over to his friend’s home to play. But little did he know about the horrifying incident that lay ahead of him.
The family says that an American bulldog had mauled him to death, leaving him with the most brutal and non-survivable injuries which killed him in the end.
Authorities identified the victim as Jack Lis who was reportedly attacked after attending his school in Wales, near Caerphilly recently.
“My baby was left with critical injuries, He did absolutely nothing to deserve something like this”- the devastated mother continued while recalling the horror of finding out that her precious son was no more.
Now, police have arrested two people who were reported as the dog’s owners. Previous history shows how the same dog was known to have conducted similar gruesome attacks in the past but it was unclear why their owners refused to let him go.
Medical reports showed the young boy was covered in injuries across both his head and neck area.
Today, the owners pleaded guilty to the dog’s killing of the victim, knowing that the pet was a threat to society, given his recent past. But they continued to live with him and refused to seek professional help which could have saved this young child’s life.
The previous incidents caused two different members of the public to be covered in horrifying injuries too but they thankfully managed to survive. But poor little Jack was unlucky as he just couldn’t pull through, leaving his family in shock and grief for months.
The victim’s mother was upset that the dogs’ owners were free to be released on bail and she felt that the punishment was not justified, after what happened to her son.
