A 35-year-old former teacher has been banned from the profession after he reportedly abused a teenage girl for four years at an educational institution.
According to local media reports, the suspect has been identified as Andrew Oldfield who was recently convicted of the heinous crime and hence charged with four counts relating to sexual activity with a minor.
The dad of two children reportedly was a teacher who taught at the Horn’s Mill Primary School which is located in Hesby.
He began his profession in 2018 and since then, it is believed that he repeatedly targeted a 13-year-old student for who he was deemed guilty of molesting on various occasions.
While authorities are yet to reveal the actual identity and age of the victim, she is believed to be between 13 and 17. Moreover, they have confirmed how the teacher had s*x with her on several occasions.
He is believed to have sent out a series of dirty text messages to the child again, telling her that he would like to do it with her again and hence was in the midst of making plans.
But his sickening messages were recently unveiled and brought into the limelight by the victim’s mom who is believed to have across her daughter’s phone and hence read the messages.
Oldfield has been deemed guilty of abuse on all four counts of s*xual behavior with a minor and for that reason is serving four years in jail. However, the victim’s family believes that four years is not enough and hence the duration should be extended.
The victim revealed how the teacher urged her to delete the text messages from her phone as he was fearful that she might expose him or he would be caught. But that was too late because the truth was finally out in the open thanks to the victim’s mom.
