A restaurant has reportedly been slammed on TripAdvisor with countless bad reviews after it refused to serve two women who entered wearing clothing that they felt was inappropriate.
The JD Wetherspoon pub was reportedly slammed by so many enraged reviewers because it referred to the female customers’ attire as very inappropriate and equivalent to that of a man being shirtless.
According to the dining place, the women had cropped tops that were inexcusable to be deemed as appropriate clothing. And that’s when it was further revealed how they were actually ‘underboob’ tops.
But now, the pub is having to pay a hefty price after the incident as the management is being slammed publicly with negative criticism across the board.
One of the customers named Mollie Wood put forward her rant against the pub via a viral TikTok video that showed the male manager making some bizarre claims towards her attire in Berkshire.
“We were literally halfway through the pub and that’s when the male manager suddenly decides to show up and shout at us to stop,” she added. “He told us that we were not welcomed inside as we were dressed really inappropriately and that was not suitable,” she further added.
In addition to that, the manager tried to defend himself by mentioning how he had been busy kicking out plenty of male customers all day long because they tried to gain entry in topless attire.
Mollie was very offended by what the manager had to say and that could clearly be sensed in her recent video.
Since the video’s posting, it has managed to gain nearly 300,000 views on TikTok with the pub receiving the heat for their outrageous behavior regarding what customers can and cannot wear inside.
