Fury has emerged in Pakistan after a father shot his own baby girl to death.

According to local media reports, the evil dad didn’t think twice before he rammed his 7-day old daughter’s body with five bullets until she died on the spot.

Sources claim that the father had always wished for his firstborn to be a boy but when that didn’t happen, he just couldn’t stand seeing his daughter’s face and shot her.

The suspect was identified as Shahzaib Kahn who was reportedly arrested on the suspicion of killing the innocent newborn.

Loved ones explained how the little baby was so precious and had been named Jannat which is the Urdu term for heaven.

The horrifyingly tragic incident took place in the baby’s home which was located in the country’s central city of Mianwali.

Police sources claim that the father rammed into his house and ordered his wife to give the baby girl to him so he could shoot her dead.

Despite facing resistance from the child’s mother, he managed to take her and shoot her to death, as reported by sources from the Dawn newspaper.

The couple had been married for two years and this was their first child.

After carrying out the tragedy, the father fled the scene of the crime. However, he was arrested by law enforcement authorities on Thursday who managed to trace him down.

The incident has been causing fury and outrage in the Pakistani nation as many condemn the terrifying act while others call upon the court of law to grant the suspect the harshest punishment for murdering his own child.

Other relatives who filed a complaint against the accused claim that the child’s father had refused to accept the reality that his baby was a girl and not a boy. And in the end, he took her life forever.
