The police discovered the bodies of two babies at a home in South Wales on Saturday evening.
At around 8 pm on Saturday, the authorities investigated a property in Wildmill, Bridgend, and found the bodies of two babies in the process.
According to the local reports, the police have since arrested three adults on suspicion of concealing the birth of two children as they pleaded with the public for information that could help speed up their investigation.
“South Wales Police has commenced an investigation after the bodies of two babies were discovered at address in Wildmill, Bridgend, on the evening of Saturday, November 26,” the police statement read.
“Officers were called to the house just before 8 pm. Two men aged 37 and 47, and a 29-year-old woman, have been arrested on suspicion of concealing the birth of a child and they remain in police custody.”
The police added: “An investigation is ongoing and detectives are keen to hear from anyone with information.
“Anyone with any information can also contact us by one of the following means quoting reference number 399650.”
Meanwhile, Superintendent Marc Attwell dubbed the disturbing find as a “very distressing incident” while pleading with the public to come forward with any information that could be of value to the investigators.
According to the latest reports, the three suspects remain in police custody pending investigation.
The babies’ causes of death have yet to be determined and revealed.
