Elvis star Austin Butler has paid a heartbreaking tribute to Lisa Marie Presley after she passed away at the age of 54.
The daughter of the King of Rock and Roll was rushed to a hospital after she collapsed at her home in Calabasas, California.
Her mother Priscilla Presley, 77, asked people for prayers and assured fans that her daughter was getting ‘the best care.’
But only hours later, the devastated mother confirmed that her daughter has died.
Priscilla said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known.
“We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”
Lisa Marie’s death comes only two days after she attended the Golden Globes to cheer Austin Butler for his portrayal of her father in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic Elvis.
The actor won the Best Actor in Motion Picture Drama Award and while on stage, he delivered a touching speech.
“I also want to thank our incredible producers and Warner Bros and the Presley family, thank you guys,” Butler expressed.

After Lisa Marie’s death, Butler has shared a heartbreaking tribute and revealed that his ‘heart is completely shattered.’
“I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared.,” he continued.
