Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The 75-year-old Terminator star and former governor of California was reportedly driving through West Los Angeles when a bicyclist changed lanes and collided with his car.
As reported by TMZ, the bicyclist “suddenly swerved into his lane and made contact” before the actor had the chance to stop his vehicle.
Following the crash, several police officers were spotted at the scene, whereas the bicyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
According to the reports, Schwarzenegger was not hurt in the incident. The bicyclist remains in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
TMZ also revealed that police sources confirmed that the actor doesn’t seem to be responsible for the crash and that he couldn’t avoid getting hit by the bicyclist.
An investigation into the collision has since been launched.
The news comes just a year after Schwarzenegger was involved in another traffic incident.
Last January, the actor was driving his GMC Yukon when he struck a Toyota Prius. The driver of the Toyota was rushed to the hospital after bleeding from her head, whereas Schwarzenegger didn’t suffer any major injuries in the incident.
It was later revealed that neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected to have played a role in the crash and that no arrests have been made.
At the time, however, law enforcement sources suggested Schwarzenegger was at fault after taking a left turn where he shouldn’t have.
Following the 2022 incident, the actor’s representative confirmed that Arnie wasn’t injured and that his only concern was for the injured woman.
