After the horrifying school shooting incident that had taken place at an Elementary School in Texas, Senator Ted Cruz is calling for the protection of the state’s ‘most precious assets’.
According to Cruz, armed cops and military veterans need to be stationed at schools with bulletproof doors and locks. However, it was interesting to see how the governor failed to shed light on gun control and its related legislation.
The 51-year-old Senator mentioned how at every single entry point, there needs to be a number of armed officers and if required, military veterans should receive appropriate training to provide security during such terrifying situations.
“Schools should only have one point of entry. Virtual life must also be isolated to protect the young adults and help them pave the way in cases of violence”- the senator revealed.
In the same way, the Texas Senator highlighted how so many broken and grieving families were ailing from the horror attack that recently took place, taking away the lives of innocent victims.
“We’re seeing a decline in church attendance, there are absent fathers, families have been broken, and the social media bullying doesn’t stop”- young people’s mindsets are being affected and all of this needs to stop.
But it’s appalling for so many members of the public to see how the leaders are doing everything in their power except for handling the root cause of the matter. And that was related to changing the current gun control legislation in place.
Cruz recently declared in a bold tone how he’s not sending out calls for gun restrictions.
And that’s because he feels that if that were the case, so many young individuals would be losing their lives if the Democrats stepped in and decided to confiscate their guns.
