Terrifying reports are arising in regards to an elderly woman being killed in a horrifying shark attack recently.
According to reports from local media outlets, the pensioner who hailed from Austria was dragged into deeper waters by the giant beast and then her arm and leg were ripped off, moments before she tragically passed away.
The incident is believed to have taken place at the famous tourist beach in Egypt which is called Sahl Hasheesh. This is located at the popular bay that lies across the Red Sea near the coast of Egypt.
The tourist was said to be enjoying her holidays with her loved ones but little did anyone know that a shark attack would end up taking her life forever.
Sources revealed how a giant crowd watched the drama in horror but no one dared to enter into the water as they all feared for their own lives, confirmed reports.
It is believed that after her ligaments were torn away by the wild beast, she was taken ashore and put into an ambulance who rushed her to a nearby local hospital. But she tragically died inside the ambulance from ‘shock’ confirmed to authorities that were present at the horror scene.
The beach is said to be very close to the tourist resort area of Sharm El Sheikh.
“We were all holidaymakers. We were enjoying the summer day and then all of a sudden, there were loud screams and yells for help. People began to panic as they feared for their own lives. Everyone just watched in horror as the shark tore away her arm and leg”- mentioned one traumatized witness located at the scene.
The woman was believed to be in the area with her native partner but it’s not yet clear if he was present with her on that particular day and time when the shark attack took center stage.
