A loving couple from Texas has reportedly passed away just 90 minutes apart from one another.
According to local media reports, the couple reportedly shared 62 years of holy matrimony with one another. And they always promised to be by each other’s side during sickness and in health. But little did anyone know that they would be together on their death beds too.
While the saying, ’till death do us part’ may sound like a cliche or a movie dialogue to some, the truth is that if you really love someone, it can turn into reality too.
And that’s exactly what happened in the case of Tom and Delma Ledbetter who reportedly fell in love and continued to honor, respect, and cherish their love for each other.
Doctors claim the couple was very much in love, until the last second that they were pushed apart forever. They were even reported as holding each other’s hands too, which brought tears to so many people’s eyes.
“This is exactly how the couple wished to go. We are not surprised. They did everything together and couldn’t stand being apart from each other”- explained their loved ones while grieving their loss.
One of the couple’s daughters shed light on how the duo met each other and for them, it was nothing less than love at first sight during a date in Florida.
Within no time, they were married and they made sure they respected their vows to the core.
“Getting married after just three weeks of meeting someone is a big deal. They knew they were each other’s, soul mates. It’s the most beautiful story that you’ll come across in a long time”- explained the daughter.
