BREAKING: Four People Hospitalized After GAS LEAK At Los Angeles International Airport


Four people were rushed to the hospital for treatment after a carbon dioxide leak at Los Angeles International Airport.

According to the reports, the gas poisoning took place in a utility room at LAX Terminal 8 where a construction worker in his 50s was found unresponsive on the floor of the room after losing his pulse.

The paramedics performed CPR on the scene before rushing the man to the hospital. He currently remains at an LA hospital and is in critical condition.

Three other people who were in the same utility room as the man were also taken to the hospital for examination and treatment.

All four victims, three males and one female, were allegedly construction workers who worked at Terminal 8 at the time of the incident.

Amid concerns for the safety of the terminal, all flights into the airport were delayed.

An hour after the original scare, the authorities confirmed that the leak was dealt with and that all operations would resume.

In a notice to the public sometime after 10 am Monday, the airport revealed that Terminal 8 was cleared by Los Angeles Fire Department after only trace amounts of leaked carbon dioxide were detected during scans.

It has since also come to light that the utility room where the gas leak occurred is located some 200 feet from the baggage claim area of Terminal 8.

Workers on the site also confirmed that they could hear a popping sound moments before the leak was noticed.
