Amber Heard lost her cool after her ex-husband Johnny Depp’s legal team brought up her 2009 arrest for slapping her ex-girlfriend and sneaking James Franco into her Los Angeles penthouse in May 2016.
Camille Vasquez, the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s attorney, referenced claims that the Aquaman star hit her former partner Tasya van Ree.
She said that two officers allegedly saw the slapping incident and the actress got arrested.
“Johnny Depp isn’t the only partner of yours that you’ve assaulted,” Vasquez said.
Heard then responded: “I’ve never assaulted any partner. I’ve never assaulted Mr. Depp or any other person I was romantically linked to, ever.”
Wrapping up the cross-examination, Vasquez said: “No further questions, your honor.”
Earlier, Depp’s lawyer asked Heard why James Franco went to her penthouse in May 2016, only a day after she and her ex-husband had a heated argument.
The court previously heard that Depp was jealous of Franco and thought that his ex-wife was having an affair.
“You knew that Mr. Depp was out of town May 22, 2016, didn’t you?” Vasquez asked the actress, adding that Franco’s visit came only a day after Heard had the locks changed.
Heard said that she did not know Depp’s schedule that day.
She also said of Franco: “He was my friend and he lived quite literally next door. I’d exhausted my support network and I was happy to welcome as much friendship as I could possibly get.”
In the CCTV footage from the LA building, Franco can be seen placing his head on Heard’s shoulder.
“After seeing my face put his head on my shoulder. He touched the side of my face too,” Heard explained.
She claimed that Depp threw a mobile phone at her the previous night and left her with a bruise on her face.
