Amber Heard’s sister allegedly admitted that her sibling had severed Johnny’s finger when she threw a bottle at him.
During their 2015 trip to Australia when Johnny Depp was filming Pirates of the Caribbean, Heard and her then-husband had a massive fight during which the actor’s finger was severed off.
As Depp previously insisted, his finger was cut when his wife threw a vodka bottle at him.
While Heard denied his claims and insisted he injured himself because he was drunk, unsealed court documents now revealed that even Whitney Henriquez – her own sister who supported the actress throughout the blockbuster defamation trial – believed Heard was responsible for Johnny’s severed finger.
As part of the unveiled documents, a deposition from Henriquez’s former boss and friend Jennifer Howell has emerged.
Recalling the time Heard and Depp had the massive fight back in 2015, Howell claimed she has heard Henriquez screaming “she’s cut off his God damn finger” in the office.
“I was sitting exactly where I’m sitting right now because I’m sitting at my desk in the office. So I was sitting right here on my computer, working, in my zone, responding, doing whatever I was doing,” Howell told Johnny’s star attorney Camille Vasquez in the deposition.
“And right over there, there were two black-and-white chairs at the time with a table in between it. Whitney was sitting in one of the black-and-white chairs.
“There’s a door that goes out right over there as well, and she just screamed, ‘She’s done it now. She’s cut off his God damn finger,’ and made this huge proclamation. And I pushed my chair back. I was like, ‘What?’”
Howell continued: “And she goes, ‘She cut off his finger. She cut off his finger.’ And then she bolted out the door and was like, ‘I got to call somebody. I got to call somebody.’ And she went out the door and she called someone. I don’t know who she called. That’s what was said.”
Upon Vasquez’s inquiry, Howell also confirmed it was clear that Henriquez was talking about Heard and Depp at the time of the phone call.
The deposition, which was now made public, is part of thousands of pages worth of content that was finally unsealed after Depp’s legal win and after the actress was ordered to pay him $10.35 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
