Alec Baldwin was seen visiting his hideaway in Vermont with his family on the first death anniversary of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The 64-year-old star, who has maintained that the incident was an accident, could be seen playing with one of his children as they enjoyed the autumn sunshine.
He previously shared a photo of Hutchins working with a camera, writing: “One year ago today.” But many were quick to slam the actor, with many internet users calling for him to be ‘held accountable’ and branding him ‘disgraceful.’
A year has passed but no one has been arrested or charged in the tragic killing of Hutchings.
One internet user commented: “You are f*****g posting something you should be ashamed of? It’s like making your disgraceful reality a throwback just for Instagram. So desensitized!! I wonder how and with what.”
Another said: “This was your fault and not a freak accident. You should be held accountable.”
A third added: “This feels really inappropriate since you’re the one who shot and killed her.”
Friends of the late cinematographer visited her gravesite in California, leaving fresh flowers, candies and a photo of Hutchins.
“Have something sweet in honor of Halyna,” a message read.
In a statement to Daily Mail, Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said that she is still waiting for the sheriff’s report into the fatal shooting.
“No one is above the law,” she also warned.
Carmack-Altweis remains committed to getting answers for the community and pursuing justice for the victims.
“As soon as the District Attorney receives the full report from the Santa Fe County Sheriff, she and her team of professional attorneys and investigators will thoroughly review all the evidence and make a thoughtful decision about whether to bring charges against those involved,” the statement added.
