Actor Alec Baldwin was seen looking defeated when he answered a phone call only hours after it was revealed that criminal charges will be filed against him in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

This comes after he and Hilaria Baldwin welcomed their seventh child together.

The actor reflected on a year where “my heart has been broken a thousand times.” He also shared his appreciation for children after his seventh baby with Hilaria was born.

“These kids. All of them born in 212. Same hospital,” he wrote on Instagram. “First four in the same room. Last three in the same, but different room.”

But on Monday, Alec was seen burying his head in his hands as he answered a phone call. He stood alone for ten minutes, heavy bags under his eyes were evident as he hunched over a fence.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that New Mexico prosecutors may file criminal charges against him.

Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said in a letter to the state’s financial board that she was ‘ready’ to file charges against four people.

“One of the possible defendants is well known movie actor Alec Baldwin,” she wrote, noting that there could be four criminal trials.

Hutchin’s grieving family is also pursuing a wrongful death lawsuit against the star.

Earlier this month, a judge ruled Baldwin was primarily responsible for firing the shot that took the life of the cinematographer during the filming of Rust in New Mexico.

Last week, the actor placed his $29 million estate on Long Island on the market. It was is largest asset.

Daily Mail reported that Baldwin’s decision to sell the estate may be to protect his assets from lawsuits that could cost him a fortune.
