Adam Bandt is not a happy man after he was recently seen voicing his anger about how unfair the government has been in terms of calling all birthing parents mothers.
The Gold Coast mother says the word was appalling, offensive, and so dehumanizing for him. Moreover, he feels that he’s had enough of the unfair and ugly culture that automatically wishes to begin its own rules and make changes that actually go about hurting people’s sentiments.
Bandt’s comments were seen more to be directed toward Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his current government. “You can’t simply make such a major switch again. Stop reversing the change of birthing parents back to mothers. Healthcare forms need to give people respect”- he continued.
The Greens leader added how the entire fiasco needs to be condemned and the change needs to be relooked at because it’s going to spark outrage among different members of the community.
Mr. Bandt was seen releasing a post through his account on social media that specified: “As leaders of this world, we all have a specific duty to do the right thing, despite all the culture warrior tabloids”- he revealed.
Next up, he put up an entire post that outlined the definition of a birthing parent and how it entailed words like LGBTQ+ individuals, and how it was designed not to exclude anyone so that no one’s feelings were hurt along the way.
“I strongly hope that some sort of discussion is made and consultations bring about fruitful responses because such changes are not only strange but acceptable”- he elaborated further.
It is believed that the new health consent forms were being introduced at various hospitals in Australia as a part of a new experiment to help upload details pertaining to newborn babies through digital means.
