Aspiring actor Tyler Sanders has passed away at the age of 18.
According to the reports, the teenager was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Thursday. While the official cause of death is yet to be determined, the police don’t believe foul play was involved.
Tyler was best known for his roles in 9-1-1 Lone Star, Fear The Walking Dead, and Amazon Prime’s Just Add Magic: Mystery City.
Following his premature passing, Tyler’s family confirmed that an autopsy and an investigation will be carried out to establish the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death.
As reported by TMZ, Tyler was found alone at his home by the Los Angeles police following a report of a young male not breathing. It is unclear who made the call to 911.
“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family, and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time,” the family’s spokesperson, Pedro Tapia, said in a statement following the boy’s death.
Tyler kicked off his acting career at the age of ten. He landed his first role in 2015 when he appeared on the JLW Academy show.
Two years later, in 2017, the actor was cast as a guest star in AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead where he appeared as Young Jake Otto in the episode ‘TEOTWAWKI’.
In the following years, the rising star secured a series of other roles including Siggy in What About Barb?, Logan Hawke in The Rookie, Eli in Reliant, Leo in Just Add Magic, Leo in Just Add Magic: Mystery City, and Brian in 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Tyler’s latest movie, The Price We Pay, is currently in post-production and awaiting release.
