Johnny Depp’s explosive testimony for his million-dollar defamation may have come to an end but the evidence and statements revealed today were definitely something many will be talking about for days.
The actor ended his time on the witness stand by answering a series of questions that were put up in front of him by his own legal team and Amber Heard’s lawyers.
This included a taped phone call where Amber Heard could be heard pushing Johnny Depp to tell the world that he was the victim in this case of domestic abuse. “Come on Johnny, go and tell the world that you, the man, are a victim of domestic violence!”
Moments later, Depp’s lawyers asked him what was his response to the statements made by his ex-wife. He replied by saying: “I told her that I will!”
The celeb has been answering a series of questions in Fairfax County, including some very personal questions about his own troubled childhood and how he was abused by his own mother.
A number of bombshell pieces of evidence have been presented in the courtroom including how Amber Heard threw a bottle of wine which led to his middle finger being severed. Similarly, there was also a shocking incident where Heard was accused of throwing an entire can of mineral spirits at his head, all of which have been examined closely by the jury.
One piece of evidence showed Depp telling his friend that he would like to burn and drown Amber Heard but the celeb tried to brush that off as a hilarious joke and abstract sense of humor that he reportedly shared with his friends.
For now, Johnny Depp’s testimony may be over but the trial is far from it and many continue to be glued to their screens to see what happens next.
