The state of New York has reportedly issued the Amber Alert recently after a horrifying abduction incident involving an innocent teen took place.

According to local media outlets, 14-year-old James Fernandez was kidnapped by five suspects who were wearing masks. The incident was reported to have taken place in the city of Rochester in New York on Monday, as revealed by the police.

The suspects arrived in a gold-colored SUV and made their way towards the boy, grabbing him and immediately placing him inside their vehicle during the afternoon hours.

Now, the police have gone on to state how the boy is believed to be in imminent danger of death or harm, causing fear and panic across citizens of the state.

As of now, it is still unclear whether the young boy was walking back home from his school or whether he was located at a specific property during the time of the tragic event.

Meanwhile, officers at the Rochester police department have gone on to speak about how they believe the teen was taken by one black man and four to five other black suspects who were donning masks as a means to disguise their identity.

As of now, the police department is on the lookout for any clues relating to the incident, and that includes a golden-toned SUV which had a New York state number plate but they’re still not too sure about the car brand, explained reports.

A recent press release statement by the Rochester police department stated how the boy was taken away under the circumstances that led police officers to believe that they were in serious danger of inflicting harm or death upon him.

For now, the state is on high alert to avoid any similar incidents from occurring in the next few weeks.
