House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was not happy with GOP leader Kevin McCarthy after he criticized her mask mandate rules.
Therefore, Pelosi was quick to call McCarthy a ‘moron’ who felt that the House mask mandate guidelines failed to follow the principles of science.
The incident took place on Wednesday where Pelosi was reportedly asked to speak regarding his recent comment on the mask mandate guidelines and how he felt that they were not in line for vaccinated people as they went against the field of science.
On that note, the House Speaker did not shy away from mentioning how big of a moron he was for considering that. And then she added how people should not make the mistake of noticing that the new threat of bringing back masks has nothing to do with science.
Instead, she went on to confirm how this decision was in fact brought up by several liberal officials from the Goverment who wish to continue to live in a state that’s surrounded by perpetual pandemic circumstances.
On the other hand, Pelosi’s recent comment regarding McCarthy is sheer proof of the tension present between the two and the type of hostile relationship that they both possess.
Surprisingly, the House Speaker’s spokesperson was quick to double down on her recent ‘moron’ comment via a Tweet.
“With much regret, we can’t verify the audio recording for this audio citing poor quality. However, what I can confirm is that the House Speaker firmly believes that stating how a mask requirement is not based on science is truly moronic.”
Meanwhile, McCarthy was also quick to respond to the comments made on Wednesday by the speaker.
“Well, if she thinks that she is so brilliant, then can she please tell me where the science changes in the building between the Senate and the House?” And just like that, he went on to add a long series of questions that were directly aimed at the Speaker, and which clearly showed his anger against her regarding the situation.Recommended Video For You!
