A 26-year-old mother from Wales has made history after giving birth to an identical pair of triplets.
This occurrence is termed to be incredibly rare in the world of medical science, occurring with an odds ratio of 1:200 million confirmed reports. Moreover, the rare incident also means that the fertilized egg goes about splitting into three, right after being fertilized.
The couple explained how they literally had to leave the hospital tags on after they left the hospital because that’s honestly how hard it is to tell all of them apart.

Surprisingly, the babies were naturally conceived, and that meant their family doubled in size, overnight.
Katie Craw, the mum who delivered the children announced how shocked she and her partner Rob Ellis were when the doctors informed them that their second child was in reality 3 at the 12-week scan.
On most occasions, doctors claim that triplets aren’t usually identical. They’re mostly created when the two eggs get fertilized and one of the eggs goes on to turn into twins.
However, Kate is blessed to be one of those few lucky women who have identical triplets, which is referred to as monozygotic. This means her egg split into three, right after conception.
This has made the miracle babies named Eddie, Tommy, and Joshua identical in appearance. Reports also spoke about how they arrived via emergency c-section on the 9th of February.
The mum also went on to add how her husband nearly fainted when he heard the news of them being genetically identical. But today, they’re a busy set of parents who clearly have their hands full to the max.
