A mother was recently dubbed as a child abuser from mean internet trolls after she made claims about her breastfeeding.
The French woman went viral recently after stating how she breastfeeds her 5-year-old son because she feels it works at strengthening their bond. But little did she know that many people would feel so offended by the news.
Mean internet trolls were the first to accuse the mum of child abuse as well as incest. But that didn’t put an end to her breastfeeding actions. Now, the mum is going viral with her real-life story and she doesn’t care about what other people have to say.

It wouldn’t be wrong to call 36-year-old Gaelle Meheut the woman with breastfeeding on her mind. Unfortunately, her story is a little different from the rest and one listen is all it takes to understand why.
Gaelle explains how the concept of breastfeeding is a little different in France as it is in many other nations. Nursing children after a certain age doesn’t get any appreciation. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. You’re usually called out for doing something like that. Perhaps that’s one of the many reasons why many people have trouble digesting her story too.
Born and raised in Vanuatu which is an island near Fiji, Gaelle says her own mum breastfed her till a certain age too. And that was around 3 months old. “Certainly, I never intended on practicing prolonged breastfeeding with my children.” But things kind of went out of hand.

The mom added how the average duration for nursing kids in France is about 17 weeks. But nursing came very naturally to her after Ewen’s birth. And she simply can’t get enough of the precious bond between the two.
“I didn’t even have any formula milk at my disposal,” she claims. And that meant her natural breastfeeding worked like a miracle.

As a mother, Gaelle tries hard not to let other people’s thoughts and opinions overtake her own. “It’s not always a smooth path for me. I do sometimes turn into a mad mum who has some wild kids attached to her boobs,” she adds.
Time after time, trolls do come up to her and accuse her of incest or even label her as a child abuser. No matter how strong and defiant she may be, it’s not a bed of roses and she knows that. Explaining how and why to others is a difficult journey. But she feels determined to fight for her right.
Breastfeeding her kids up to 5 or 7 times a day isn’t an easy job but his mum does it with great pride!
