A 47-year-old mother from California has been accused of hosting s*x parties for her 15-year-old son and his friends.
Shannon O’Connor would let the teens drink alcohol until they puked and fell unconscious, reports revealed.
Prosecutors claimed that the mother would purchase fireball whiskey and vodka for the secret parties, even laugh and watch while the teens engaged in intimate acts.
According to prosecutors, O’Connor kept the parties a secret from her husband and other parents while teens would get so intoxicated, they “would vomit, be unable to stand, and fall unconscious.”
District Attorney Jeff Rosen said in a statement: “It took a lot of brave children to come forward and to untangle this deeply disturbing case.
“As a parent, I’m shocked. As the DA, I’m determined to hold those adults who endanger children fully accountable to the law and our community.”
The 47-year-old was arrested as a fugitive in Idaho where she now lives. She was booked into an Idaho jail but prosecutors are planning to extradite her to California where she faces a list of 39 criminal accounts.
O’Connor reportedly held several s*x parties for her 15-year-old son and his friends from 2020 to March this year and told those who attended to keep the parties a secret.
“She stated if anyone was told she could go to jail,” the statement said.
The mother of one of the girls said: “It’s just so terrible what she did to my daughter and these other children.
“My heart breaks for these kids. It’s been devastating. It’s a worst nightmare for a parent.”
Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, where O’Connor’s son was a player on freshman football team, said that it investigates “any issues that arise on our campuses and work closely with law enforcement to support their investigation into matters that take place outside of school.”
