A young mom was found inside a truck after presumably getting shot dead in front of her kids by her boyfriend.

32-year-old Patricia Grooms was a loving mother-of-two from South Carolina who was killed in a mysterious case involving her boyfriend of two weeks, 38-year-old Billy Mclean Head III.

According to the reports, the man repeatedly shot the young woman in front of her younger child before disposing of her body.

On November 12, Grooms’ body was discovered inside a truck, prompting the authorities to arrest Head III on suspicion of murder and hold him in Colleton County Detention Center without bail.

As of this writing, the case remains under investigation, whereas the friends and family of the young mom demand that the sheriff’s office releases more information.

According to the sheriff’s office’s scant explanation, they received a call from a lady who claimed she was out with a young girl and a man when the latter told her he had been stabbed. After arriving at the scene, however, the authorities came across an unconscious woman who was later identified as Patricia Grooms.

As of this writing, the police have not yet elaborated the mysterious call or identified the caller and the people the caller was with at the time of the incident.

Contributing to the mysterious circumstances of the case is also Grooms’ cryptic social media post in which she opened up about mental health issues shortly before the incident.

“I see you. You are important. You are loved. Thank you for being here despite your own feelings. I hope one day you want to be here just as much as everyone else wants you to,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Grooms’ close friend, Megan Campodonico, spoke out and revealed that the mom had just begun patching things up with her estranged husband when her new boyfriend showed up out of nowhere.

“She impacted every life she touched,” Campodonico expressed in a tribute to her friend.
