Police have revealed a tragic new update in the missing case of the 4-year-old girl who mysteriously vanished from a campsite during the early hours of the morning.
Little Cleo went missing without a trace, four days back, from a campsite where she and her family had been living near Carnarvon in Australia. But now, the latest details into the high-profile investigation have raised an alarm among citizens after it was revealed how more than 20 sex offenders were reported as living near the Blowholes campsite.
The news was revealed by the Police commissioner recently who claimed the area was being investigated thoroughly after they found out the alarming statistics.
Simiarly, the officials also spoke about how they are currently probing reports that pertain to the sound of screeching tires during the early morning hours of the day when Cleo went missing.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Police Commissioner claimed that they are still investigating all the facts that are coming forward and hence don’t plan on ruling anything out.
Campers situated around the same area were the first ones to report how they were certain that they heard those bizarre sounds in the middle of the night.
Young Cleo was last seen by her parents at about 1:30 am in the night while she was staying in the family tent situated at the Blowholes campsite, located near Carnarvon. This area is renowned for camping and is termed to be the north-western coast of Western Australia.
However, the sudden mysterious disappearance of a young child has sparked major concern amongst residents and campers who claim such an incident is not only tragic but extremely devastating.
Officials have reassured the family that they are doing everything they can, with detectives making inquiries relating to the sex offenders. However, they did confirm that no one was yet believed to be involved at this point in their investigation for the missing child.
