Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn recently voiced out his Christian faith to debunk claims that he’s a satanist.
The “ReAwaken America” tour which took place in San Antonio, Texas, features Flynn as one of the keynote speakers.
Roger Stone, Mike Lindell, Lyn Wood, and other Trump loyalist and anti-vaxxers including Stella Immanuel and Scott Jensen, who have a history of spreading disinformation about the 2020 election and the COVID-19 pandemic were also present at three-day the event.
Speaking at the conference, Flynn called for Christianity to become the only religion in the United States.
“If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion,” the former national security adviser said. “One nation under God, and one religion under God.”
The 62-year-old also talked about former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who was prosecuted for refusing to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Select Committee in relation to the January 6 Capitol siege.
Flynn said that Bannon’s indictment is an “abuse of freedom of speech.”
Moreover, Flynn also added that he has taped a segment for “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on what he calls the “insurrection crucifixion.”
He compared current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Pontius Pilate, the person who commanded Jesus’ crucifixion in the Bible.
“This is the crucifixion of our First Amendment freedom to speak, freedom to peacefully assemble,” Flynn said. “It’s unbelievable.”
Flynn himself has a history of propagating unproved theories, such as COVID-19 vaccines being added to salad dressing, and previously claimed that the coronavirus was a made-up issue to distract people from the 2020 election.
He served as the Trump administration’s national security adviser and was granted a pardon in 2020 after pleading guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about his communications with Russia.
