Jeffrey Steele, a resident of Florida, is furious at his daughter’s school; where wearing a mask was mandatory for every student, and no exception was given to her daughter who had Down syndrome and is nonverbal.
A man was enraged after discovering that a mask was tied tightly to her medically unfit daughter’s face with a cord, as every student in the school has to follow the rules no matter what.
Jeffrey Steele told in an interview that he was shocked to see his daughter on October 7, when she stepped off the school bus in Indian Harbor.
A medical mask was tied tightly to her face, although she was a patient of Down syndrome and had an enlarged tongue. He assumed that his daughter was exempted from the mask mandate due to her medical condition but was unaware that she was not, and was forced to wear the mask for six weeks. The girl, Sophia, was enrolled in an individual education plan (IEP) in the Ocean Breeze Elementary School, part of Brevard County Schools in Florida.
Jeffery Steele is taking out her daughter from the school and is ready to sue the school for this attempt.
This case drew the attention of the members of parliament, and a State Representative and Republican from Palm Bay, Randy Fine, said that there is a special place in the hell for people who did this with the little girl having Down syndrome.
Brevard Public Schools has announced a change to the emergency face mask mandate in all the schools after the daily COVID case rate decreased to 50 patients per 10,00,000 residents of the country.
The salaries of school board members in Florida are also deducted after all this.
Still, the administration of Joe Biden is trying to make up for the pay cuts by adding federal grants to the salaries of the affected people.Share this article with people around you.
