A man has confessed to throwing two young girls out of their apartment to their death because they were too loud.
23-year-old Ochur Sanchat from Kyzyl, Russia, admitted to throwing two young sisters, aged 9 and 14, 80 feet deep from their 8th-floor apartment because they were “making too much noise.”
According to the reports, the young man was renting one of the rooms in the apartment of the girls’ mother at the time of the incident.
Angered by the loud voices of the two siblings, the man proceeded to throw the girls 80 feet to their death just several minutes apart.
Following the incident, neighbors reported hearing loud screams coming from the two siblings who were killed on Halloween morning while their mom was working a night shift.
“I woke up from a slammed balcony door and terrible screams,” one of the neighbors recalled.
“While I was trying to figure out what was happening, literally a minute passed, there was a strong roar, terrible screams, and then everything subsided for three or four minutes.”
She added: “Then it happened again. I was alone at home with my children. I didn’t stick my head out, but called the police.”
After the police arrived at the scene, detectives arrested the 23-year-old man who later pleaded guilty to the double murder.
It has since also come to light that the police were previously called to the girls’ apartment on several occasions in the weeks and months leading to the tragic event. The authorities are now investigating these reports.
Both of the girls died after being thrown out of the apartment. The 9-year-old’s twin sister survived the ordeal and was later found uninjured in her bed.
