The decision comes as a surprise to many

Rittenhouse tried to explain his side of the story on August 25th to the police. Here, he repeatedly mentions his acts of self-defense while protecting another person’s business. For this reason, he fired shots in self-defense.

The 17-year-old gunman’s lawyer, Mark Richards, revealed several screenshots of videos. The screenshots relate to the same day of the killings.  In the same way, he tried to prove his client’s innocence. Unfortunately, it was in vain as other members disagreed.

Details of the online hearing revealed

In one picture, Rittenhouse runs away from another armed protester. In another clip, Rittenhouse hits the ground as a protestor, Huber, strikes him using a skateboard.

However, the Assistant District Attorney rejected the evidence. Moreover, he questioned Richards as to what really went on, before the incident displayed. He also mentioned how the evidence failed to show any relevance.

There was nothing in the screenshots that could prove whether or not Rittenhouse committed a felony.

Today, Rittenhouse will stand a murder trial for a total of six counts. Therefore, the world eagerly awaits for January 5th, which is the day for his scheduled arraignment.
