While the Star Wars Mandalorian has Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal behind the mask, sometimes they require a stunt double. And believe it or not, reports hint that it’s none other than John Wayne grandson underneath.

With that being said, he also recently became the character reins of the episode titled Sanctuary, for which he was never intended for in the first place.
While the star of the hit The Searchers is none other than John Wayne himself, it’s nice to see his family circle expanding into the scene.

Brendan reportedly started work on all episodes during season 1, while he continues his work on the second season too. Brandon spent a lot of time and effort to get his movements with Pascal right. The pair attempted to coordinate their body language. Hence, they worked closely together quite often.
Regarding Pascal, Wayne stated:
[Pascal] would ask me, and I would ask him the same question, which is: ‘Why did you move like this during that moment?’ We would go back and forth.
The great thing about him is he’s not impressed with himself. He’s just an actor. And I mean that in a good way, not the bad way. He likes to learn and he likes to collaborate and he’s very good at it.
This isn’t the first time that Star Wars has disguised stunt doubles under movie characters
While this may seem quite cool and appealing to many, this isn’t the first instance of its kind. Star Wars has, on plenty of occasions, used stunt doubles as leading movie characters.
Other common examples include James Earl Jones who never ever wore the Dearth Vader helmet that took place during the classic trilogy. And the best bit being, no one noticed a thing. That’s how fantastic it is.
