A new mother is explaining her traumatic experience on how her boyfriend and the father of her child ghosted her during a moment when she needed him the most- the delivery time. Sarah Burgess begins by explaining how her boyfriend was super excited after he found out that she was pregnant.
While the pregnancy was definitely unplanned, her boyfriend Peter O’Neill was over the moon with the news. The pair fell in love with one another while meeting on a rare occasion of a dog walk. Ever since then, the couple couldn’t get enough of one another, explaining how they were meant to be together forever.
However, those words didn’t last too long as the pair soon began drifting apart from one another with time. Peter promised Sarah that he would always be by her side, including the delivery. But he soon began disappearing for trips with the excuse of work. Little did Sarah know, he was actually cheating on her with another woman.
Meanwhile, Sarah entered into labor, about 9 days prior to her expected due date. As expected, Peter was nowhere to be found as he was on another one of his ‘work trips.’ Despite leaving numerous messages and phone calls, Sarah received no response from his head. She soon became worried but she had more important things to do like delivering her baby who was ready to come out.
Three days after the couple’s baby son was born, Peter showed up, apologizing about how he was so busy at work. But Sarah knew that something definitely wasn’t right. When Peter was not around, she snooped through his cellphone only to discover the bitter truth.
Peter was off on a vacation with another woman in Dubai. And this definitely was something she couldn’t forgive. After confronting him, she decided to let him go and opted to embrace the single life.
