As emergency services arrived at the scene, they found out a completely different story than what the father presented to them. Therefore, there were sure that there was more to the tragedy than what he revealed.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia authorities claim that the heartless father arrested probably waited for one whole hour. And that’s right before he called up 911. And that’s when emergency services rushed to the Montgomery county home where baby Zara Lynn passed away.

Police immediately arrested Stevens while slapping him with 7 major criminal changes. For instance, they included involuntary sexual intercourse, child rape, and aggravated assault. He also received charges for endangering a child’s welfare, amongst a few others.

Officers quickly performed CPR on the child but sadly, nothing worked. And that’s when they rushed her to the hospital. Doctors pronounced her dead, two hours later.
Other heartbreaking findings included the evidence. They found a nappy filled with blood. And investigators assumed baby Zara wore it during the vile attack by her dad. Meanwhile, the state’s district attorney condemned the attack. He called it the most awful and heinous crime ever.
