A horrifyingly tragic report has come out from Afghanistan that has gone on to speak about how a father was forced to sell his daughter to make his ends meet.
The father explained his dire and desperate circumstances regarding how he was left with no options whatsoever when it came to feeding his family. Therefore, the only easy way out revolved around selling his 5-year-old so that the rest of his family could survive.
The 35-year-old man was certainly not proud of the act but tried to explain to media reporters that it was his final bid to feed his hungry and poverty-stricken family.
The 35-year-old father spoke about how the client in the deal was a 52-year-old man who agreed to pay a hefty amount in return for his girl.
The man appeared to be in a malnourished state himself, explaining how he makes little to nothing as a laborer. Moreover, the horror worsened when he spoke about how he had to wait nearly two long years for the pedophile to arrive so he could collect his ‘goods.’
As it is, the family is huge, with the father having six other children which he finds a hard time looking after. This includes a baby daughter too. Previously, the father used to earn 2 British Pounds in a day.
However, as the Taliban took over occurred, the current living conditions in the war-torn country have gone from bad to worse and it’s really affecting many locals like him, who have no choice whatsoever than to resort to such means.
The father also spoke about how his 3-month-old baby daughter is next in line for sale and there’s not much he thinks he can do about it.
